Church of Saint Bartholomew

The stone church features a square-based bell tower, three naves, and numerous stained glass windows that illuminate the interior spaces throughout the day.

Construction began in 1295 with foreign architects from the Hessen-Westphalian school, followed by reconstruction in 1360 under the direction of Petr Parléř.

The church holds regular religious services, exhibitions of religious artifacts, and maintains a collection of Baroque altars dedicated to St Calvary, St Barbara, and St Florian.

Visitors can access the church through guided tours, which provide detailed information about the architectural elements and historical significance of this national monument.

The northern spire required reinforcement with a square-based bell tower in 1504 due to structural issues that emerged during the Utraquist religious period.
