Toleranzkirche, Protestant church in Vsetín, Czech Republic
The Toleranzkirche features a three-sided gallery and a prominent baldachin altar that includes a representation of the Last Supper within its retable.
Following Emperor Joseph II's Tolerance Patent in 1781, this Protestant church was established in 1783, marking one of the first tolerance churches in Moravia.
The structure underwent substantial changes between 1881 and 1898, including the addition of a tower equipped with three steel bells from Bochumer Verein.
The church building, located at Palackého 153 in Vsetín, maintains regular religious services and welcomes visitors interested in religious architecture.
In 1785, the congregation split into Lutheran and Reformed communities, leading to the construction of a second church building in 1827.
