Cimrman's world's smallest lookout tower

Located at an elevation of 528.9 meters, this observation tower measures exactly zero meters in height, making it officially recognized as the smallest in existence.

The tower construction began in 1917 when local residents contributed materials and labor, while Jára Cimrman financed the project through his regular salary.

The structure bears the name of Jára Cimrman, a central figure in Czech culture who reportedly collaborated with Gustave Eiffel on the Paris tower project.

Visitors can access the tower 24 hours daily, with convenient parking available near the junction of path and street 260 in Semily.

The tower features a telescope for observing local landmarks, including the peculiar Cimrman giant mushrooms located south along road 260.
