Pal-Arinsal

Vallnord is a ski resort in La Massana split into two connected sectors called Pal and Arinsal, offering over 60 kilometers of slopes for all skill levels. A cable car links the two valleys, allowing skiers to move freely between different terrain.

The area developed from joining two separate ski zones - Pal and Arinsal - using cable car technology to connect them. This merger created a larger, unified ski area that offers more terrain and options for visitors.

The resort attracts visitors from across Europe who create an international community on the slopes. Staff from many backgrounds work here, and you hear different languages throughout the day at the ski schools and mountain facilities.

Regular buses run from La Massana during winter, and a gondola also provides direct access from the valley. In summer the resort operates as a mountain bike park with multiple trails, making it a year-round destination.

A 50-person cable car connects the two valleys and ranks among the larger installations in the Alps for its capacity. This link lets skiers quickly switch between two distinct ski areas without returning to base level.
