Saldanha Marinho Building, Art Deco building in Sé district, São Paulo, Brazil.

The Saldanha Marinho Building rises eleven floors high at Rua Líbero Badaró 39, featuring geometric shapes and circular lines throughout its structure.

Constructed between 1929 and 1933, the building was initially designed for the São Paulo Automobile Club but was acquired by the Paulista Railway Company.

The structure represents the first Art Deco building in Brazil, designed by architect Elisário Bahiana with structural work by Cristiano Stockler das Neves.

The building houses the State Secretary of Public Security Affairs and underwent major renovations in 2001 to improve electrical systems and accessibility.

The 640-square-meter structure maintains original architectural elements from its construction period, reflecting the materials and design standards of the 1930s.
