The Plurinational Legislative Assembly is the national legislature of Bolivia, placed in La Paz, the country's seat of government.
Established in 2010, it replaced the National Congress of Bolivia as part of a constitutional change.
The assembly is unique for its representation of the various ethnic groups of Bolivia, reflecting the country's diverse population.
It consists of two chambers: the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.
It is one of the few legislative bodies that has seats reserved for indigenous nations.
