Lubuk Bauk Mosque

The square mosque stretches 13 meters on each side and rises on wooden pillars with arched supports decorated with plant patterns.

The construction of the mosque began in 1896 and finished in 1901, on land provided by Datuk Bandaro Panjang for the community.

The mosque incorporates Minangkabau architectural elements, including the characteristic gonjong roof style and traditional wooden carvings throughout the structure.

The building contains three floors connected by a spiral staircase, with the prayer hall featuring multiple windows and an eastern entrance aligned with the mihrab.

The octagonal minaret contains ornamental glass windows and leads to an observation area through a spiraling wooden staircase within a central pillar.
