SMA Negeri 3 Bandung

SMA Negeri 3 Bandung is a public high school in Sumur Bandung housed in a former colonial building. The facility spreads over several floors and includes classrooms, laboratories and a central library.

The building design came from Dutch architect C.P. Wolff Schoemaker in 1916. The school itself opened in 1953 and took over this historic structure for its operations.

The school maintains 30 study groups and employs 50 certified teachers who guide students through academic programs following the SMA 2013 curriculum model.

The school stands at Jalan Belitung Number 8 in Bandung and follows a five-day schedule. Visitors should note that this is an active educational institution where access and viewing may be limited during class hours.

The school building also houses SMA 5 Bandung, which is why both institutions are known together as SMA Belitung. This shared name comes from the street where the historic building stands.
