Merapi, Active volcano in Indonesia
Mount Merapi, also known as Fire Mountain, is the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since 1548.
Its deadliest eruption occurred in 1930, killing around 1,300 people.
The mountain holds significant cultural importance and is believed to be a sacred place by the local Javanese community.
Despite its danger, Mount Merapi is a popular tourist destination for hiking.
It's one of the few places in the world where you can find the 'chicken church', a building shaped like a giant chicken.
