Luxembourg Palace, Palace in France
The Luxembourg Palace is a grand French palace located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
Originally built as a royal residence for Marie de' Medici, mother of Louis XIII of France, in the 17th century.
Today, it houses the French Senate, a key institution in the French government.
It's surrounded by the Luxembourg Gardens, a public park which is a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike.
The palace has been replicated in other countries, including the Petit Luxembourg in Vietnam.
