Wheeler Peak is the second highest mountain in Nevada.
The area around Wheeler Peak contains ancient bristlecone pine trees, some of the oldest living organisms on Earth.
The peak was named after George Montague Wheeler, who led geological surveys in the late 1800s.
Wheeler Peak is located within Great Basin National Park, with trails for hikers.
It features a rock glacier and stunning views from its summit.
