Peggy's Point Lighthouse, Lighthouse in Peggy's Cove, Canada.

The white and red octagonal concrete tower stands 15 meters tall at the entrance of St. Margarets Bay in Nova Scotia.

Built in 1868 as a wooden structure, the current concrete lighthouse replaced the original in 1914 to guide ships along the Atlantic coast.

The lighthouse represents maritime heritage and appears on numerous postcards, stamps, and photographs depicting Nova Scotia's coastal identity.

Visitors can reach the lighthouse via a 45-minute drive from Halifax, with parking facilities available near the observation platform.

The lighthouse contained Canada's last post office in an active lighthouse until its closure in 2009 after serving the community for decades.
