Roosevelt Arch, Triumphal arch in United States
The Roosevelt Arch is a rusticated triumphal arch at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, Montana.
The arch was built under the directive of former President Theodore Roosevelt and completed in 1903.
The Roosevelt Arch has become one of the most prominent cultural symbols of the Yellowstone National Park.
The top of the arch is inscribed with the phrase 'For the Benefit and Enjoyment of the People'.
Roosevelt Arch is the first substantial visitor amenity feature built in Yellowstone National Park.
