St. Anne's Church, Vienna

St. Anne's Church is a Baroque church in Vienna's Innere Stadt district featuring interiors with brown and russet-toned marble and intricate ceiling frescoes. The painted work by Daniel Gran displays golden saints and angels throughout the space, creating a layered visual composition.

The church was originally consecrated in 1518 and underwent its transformation from Gothic to Baroque style between 1629 and 1634 under Jesuit administration. This renovation fundamentally reshaped its visual character and interior decoration.
