Schloss Rotenturm, Historicist castle in Rotenturm an der Pinka, Austria
Schloss Rotenturm is a castle with historicist architecture in Rotenturm an der Pinka. The building features a four-story tower at its eastern corner and displays red-painted walls adorned with lighter decorative elements across its entire exterior.
The castle was built between 1862 and 1864 under architect Antal Weber. It replaced a medieval water fortress that previously occupied the northwestern location.

The castle can be viewed from outside and is visible from the road. For a better understanding of the interior spaces, visitors should check ahead about available tours.
The building combines Romanesque, Moorish, Gothic, and Renaissance elements in a single architectural style. It stands as one of the early examples of this historicist approach in Burgenland.
