Schloss Mannsberg, Medieval castle in Kappel am Krappfeld, Austria.
The castle features a polygonal main courtyard with a four-story trapezoidal floor plan and an irregular west wing containing courtyard arcades.
Between 1065 and 1075, Tyrolean noble Adalbero transferred ownership of the castle, then called Magnesperc, to Bishop Altwin of Brixen.
The castle chapel contains preserved stucco decorations from 1711, representing architectural craftsmanship techniques from the early 18th century.
Visitors can park their vehicles at coordinates N 46°47.970 E 14°29.935 near Gasselhof intersection and walk ten minutes along Schlossweg trail.
The castle forms part of a twin structure with Altmannsberg ruins, both originating from fortifications established before the first millennium.
