Next Liberty is a children's and youth theatre in the former Thalia building next to the Graz Opera, in the city's first district, Innere Stadt. It belongs to the Theaterholding Graz and stages its productions with a fixed ensemble, reaching over 65,000 spectators in more than 200 performances per season.

In 1995 the Vereinigten Bühnen Graz opened a dedicated children's and youth theatre in the former Thalia building next to the Graz Opera. The name comes from the nearby Lichtschwert, a steel sculpture by Hartmut Skerbisch modelled on the Statue of Liberty. In 2011 a fitness centre was built in the Thalia building, so the 2011/12 season moved to the Grazer Stadthalle at the city's expense; since 2013 office and stage are back in the original house.
