Schloss Drosendorf

The Renaissance castle features four three-story wings forming a rectangular courtyard, with a baroque chapel integrated into its stone architecture.

First documented in 1180, the current structure dates from 1694 following reconstruction after a lightning strike destroyed the original building.

The castle holds regular seasonal events combining film screenings, music performances, and culinary experiences within its gardens and historical rooms.

Located 134 kilometers from Vienna Airport, the castle provides accommodation in 21 rooms and can host business meetings for groups of up to 58 people.

The castle stands as the centerpiece of Drosendorf, the sole Austrian town maintaining its complete medieval fortification walls along the Thaya River.
