Jesuitenkirche, Jesuit church in Hall in Tirol, Austria.
This baroque church from 1608 features elaborate stucco work from 1653 and represents one of the rare examples of late Renaissance architecture in Tirol with its simple yet dignified facade.
Built in 1608 following the model of the Jesuit church in Konstanz, this sacred building was consecrated in 1610 as the monastery church of the Jesuit college and dissolved in 1773.
The church serves as home to the Partisanen Garde, a traditional group that maintains local customs and contributes to preserving the historical traditions of the Tirol region.
Saturday evening mass takes place every week at 7:00 PM, and the church now functions primarily as a concert venue and cultural event space for various performances and recordings.
This church represents the only surviving example of Jesuit baroque architecture in Tirol alongside the convent church, making it an extraordinarily rare architectural specimen in the region.
