The Hohe Brücke connects two sections of Wipplingerstraße across the Tiefer Graben ravine in Vienna's city center. The steel and stone structure spans a deep streambed that cuts through the inner district.
Architect Josef Hackhofer designed this bridge, which was built between 1903 and 1904. It was completed during Vienna's urban modernization period in the early 20th century.
