The museum was created based on excavations from the 1980s that uncovered important findings from this era. These discoveries provide insight into a period that lasted from around 800 to 450 BCE.

The site reveals how people honored their dead and what objects held meaning in their daily lives. The arrangement of burials shows the different roles people held in their communities.

The visit works well on foot since everything is spread across the site and easily accessible. Wear comfortable shoes and allow time to explore each station thoroughly, as you will be walking between different reconstructed areas.

The reconstructions were built using only ancient techniques without modern materials, incorporating wood from around twenty historic barns in the region. This approach ensures the buildings reflect genuine craftsmanship methods that were actually used in that time period.
