Neufelder See is a bathing lake in Neufeld an der Leitha that originated from a former mining site and now functions as a recreational facility. The water body features varying depths and sandy or gravelly shores with equipped areas for swimmers and sunbathers.

The lake formed when a lignite mining area was flooded after extraction operations ceased and the site was redeveloped. Water filled the former extraction pits and transformed the landscape into a recreational resource for the region.

The lake is owned by the Esterházy family, while the municipality of Neufeld an der Leitha runs the public lido on the south shore. Since 1988 the Neufelder Triathlon has been held here each June, one of Austria's oldest triathlon events. The east shore holds Burgenland's oldest and largest mobile-home park, with 855 pitches.

The public beach entrance is about 700 metres from Neufeld an der Leitha railway station, which has hourly direct trains to Vienna. Bus line 327 from Felixdorf to Hornstein stops at "Strandbad"; by car, take the A3 motorway and exit at Hornstein. The lake is roughly two-thirds in Hornstein and one-third in Neufeld, so check which shore you are heading for.

The lake is the only body of water near Vienna open to the general diving public, so several diving schools hold their open-water lessons here. Three diving bases operate around the shore, and guide lines run across the lake bed with training platforms at depths between 5 and 20 metres.
