Spittl - Fachhochschule, Spittal an der Drau

The Spittl complex encompasses a four-wing structure surrounding a two-story arcade courtyard with Tuscan columns and classicist architectural elements on its southern facade.

The building dates back to 1530 when Gabriel von Salamanca constructed it as a replacement for the Ortenburg hospice near the parish church.

The central section features decorative stucco work from 1843 depicting figures representing rivers, along with architectural elements including double half-columns and window parapets.
