Schloss Bernau

Schloss Bernau is a moated castle in Fischlham featuring a grand ballroom at water level, multiple catering rooms, and a spacious courtyard. The layout allows the building to serve different events and gatherings.

The guest house section dates back to the 12th century, representing over 900 years of continuous presence in Upper Austria. Over time the complex was rebuilt and expanded to meet changing needs.

The Handlbauer family uses the castle as a venue for concerts ranging from classical to folk music. Visitors can experience live performances during their stay, making it an active cultural center for the region.
