Schloss Ebenau, Renaissance château in Weizelsdorf, Austria
Schloss Ebenau stands as a two-story building with additional mezzanine floor, rectangular layout, and hip roof at the southern edge of Weizelsdorf.
The estate belonged to Hollenburg domain before 1200, when it was transferred to Viktring Abbey, later becoming a Renaissance castle under Dietrichstein family in the 16th century.
The property features preserved wooden beam ceilings from the 16th century and remnants of paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries within its noble upper floor.
The Walker family purchased the castle in 1996 and transformed the space into an art gallery, making it accessible for contemporary cultural activities.
Two small corner towers on the western facade received quarter-circle bay windows around 1900, along with a Secessionist-style facade and balcony above the entrance.
