Schloss Lanegg, Medieval tower residence in Brixlegg, Austria
The square residential tower rises four stories high, with a rounded staircase tower added during the 16th century construction period.
The structure, first documented in 1568, remained in the possession of the Faber von Lanegg family from 1600 until the early 19th century.
The entrance features painted coats of arms displaying the Imperial Eagle and the Tyrol Eagle, with Gothic windows visible on upper levels.
The residence stands north of Mehrn in the Zimmermoos district of Brixlegg, accessible through Faberstrasse street with coordinates 47.4269, 11.8827.
The north facade holds a 16th-century statue of Madonna with Child, mounted on an elaborately profiled bracket at the second floor level.
