Wachauring, tor wyścigowy (Austria)
Wachauring is a motorsport racing track in Melk, in the Lower Austria region, used for both practice sessions and competitive events. The facility includes a paved circuit with long straights and several turns, along with a dedicated kart track and an off-road zone for varied vehicle use.
The track was built to serve the Austrian motorsport community and was gradually expanded to host a wider range of events. Over the years it became a venue for national-level competitions, including the Supermoto Austria finale.
The track draws local motorsport fans who gather here for training days and race events throughout the season. On event days, drivers, mechanics, and spectators mix around the pit area, giving the venue a communal feel that goes beyond simple competition.
The track is easy to reach from Melk and surrounding towns, with parking and spectator seating available on site. Anyone planning to drive should register ahead of time and bring the right safety equipment for the type of event they want to join.
Although the venue is mainly known for its paved circuit, it also has an off-road zone where different types of vehicles can train on unpaved surfaces. This combination of road and off-road areas within a single facility is not common for a venue of this size.
