Waldviertler Hoftheater

Waldviertler Hoftheater occupies a renovated mayor's residence and seats about 178 people in its main hall. The space also includes a theater café and a champagne bar where visitors can spend time before or after shows.

The building dates from 1886 when it served as the mayor's official residence. Since 1986 a theater has used this space as a venue, becoming a cultural presence in Austria's northernmost area.
