Schloss Neupernstein

Schloss Neupernstein is a castle with multiple event spaces located in Kirchdorf an der Krems. The main hall accommodates about 250 people, while a smaller hall seats around 100, and the entire complex consists of several buildings arranged around a central courtyard.

The estate's origins date back to 1228 when it was first mentioned in records. The present building was designed by Jakob Prandtauer in 1715, and additional structures were added between 1771 and 1774 to complete the architectural ensemble.

The castle serves as a venue for concerts, theater performances, and other cultural events that draw people from the surrounding area. It also houses the regional music school, where local residents come to study and develop their musical abilities.

Visitors will find several rooms equipped with basic technology such as projectors, microphones, and a stage. The estate is relatively easy to navigate, as the buildings are arranged around a central courtyard, which helps with orientation.

The grounds contain more than just the main building - several outbuildings were constructed in the 1770s and create a distinctive architectural composition. These additional structures are often overlooked by visitors, yet they significantly contribute to the visual impact of the entire estate.
