Webereimuseum im Textilen Zentrum Haslach

The Webereimuseum showcases historic weaving machines and textile production techniques within a preserved industrial building that demonstrates the complete process from flax preparation to finished fabrics.

Housed in the former Vonwiller textile factory established in 1819, the museum preserves the industrial heritage of a facility that operated for nearly 180 years before closing in 1998.

The museum received the Austrian Museum Quality Seal in 2014 and serves as part of the Textile Culture Haslach organization, promoting regional textile arts through workshops, exhibitions, and annual weaving markets.

Open year-round with adult admission at 6.50 euros without guided tours or 8.50 euros with tours, offering group discounts for 15 or more visitors and barrier-free access throughout the facility.

Visitors can observe functioning historical Jacquard looms and modern weaving machines in operation while exploring interactive stations that demonstrate traditional textile craftsmanship alongside contemporary production methods.
