Styrassic Park is a dinosaur amusement park in Bad Gleichenberg with more than 95 life-sized dinosaur reconstructions. The first 60 figures were made by over 30 artists under scientific direction from Humboldt University of Berlin, using about 400 tonnes of concrete and 30 tonnes of steel. The park presents dinosaurs of the Cretaceous and Jurassic as well as Ice Age animals of the Tertiary, including local species such as Struthiosaurus austriacus and Ajkaceratops from Hungary.

Styrassic Park opened on 27 March 1999 in Bad Gleichenberg, at the foot of extinct volcanoes in the volcanic region of eastern Styria. Its name combines Styria with Jurassic Park. Under the scientific direction of Humboldt University Berlin, more than 30 artists worked about 21,400 hours on the first 60 dinosaur figures up to 2015, using some 400 tonnes of concrete and 30 tonnes of steel.

The park connects visitors with paleontology through interactive displays that show scientifically accurate information about prehistoric life. School groups and families regularly use these learning opportunities as part of their visit.

The site is accessible daily and offers free parking plus charging stations for electric vehicles under solar panels. Comfortable shoes are important since the paths run through forest with natural ground, and you should prepare for weather changes.
