Speiereck

Speiereck is a mountain peak in the Radstädter Tauern range standing at 2411 meters with gentle slopes spreading across the surrounding area. The peak forms part of a ski area with numerous lifts and trails connecting different elevations.

Winter sports tourism began developing on this mountain from the mid-20th century onward. The construction of lifts and ski runs marked a turning point in how people used these slopes.
