Schloss Seebarn, Renaissance castle in Grafenwörth, Austria
The castle features a high rectangular medieval defense tower and a single-story building structure situated on the Wagram hillside.
The castle dates back to 1309 and changed ownership multiple times, including the Schenken von Seebarn family and the Counts of Verdenberg.
The structure represents a transition between defensive medieval architecture and Renaissance residential design, common in Lower Austrian noble estates.
Located at Schlossgasse 134 in Seebarn am Wagram, the castle remains private property and requires advance permission for visits.
The castle underwent substantial reconstruction after severe damage in 1945, maintaining its original Renaissance characteristics from the 16th century.
