Schloss Seebarn

Schloss Seebarn is a two-winged structure with fieldstone walls that forms a complete noble estate near Vienna. The ensemble includes several connected buildings and courtyards that combine agricultural and residential functions.

The estate was built in the second half of the 17th century and underwent major redesign around 1740. A century later, architect Carl Gangolf Kayser oversaw further modernization of the complex.

The place carries the name of the original noble family and remains home to their descendants, who continue to shape life here in traditional ways. You can sense this ongoing connection to the past in how the estate functions today.

The site sits on Schloßstraße 1 and can be viewed from outside year-round without entering the privately operated estate. The best views of the buildings come from the surrounding paths and the front grounds.
