Villa Sinnenreich, Experience museum in Rohrbach-Berg, Austria
Villa Sinnenreich houses 50 exhibits across 400 square meters, presenting installations that examine human perception through interactive displays and optical phenomena.
The building, designated as a protected monument, transformed into a museum in 2002 and officially welcomed its first visitors on June 26, 2004.
Professors and artists from the University of Arts in Linz created installations that challenge visitors to question their sensory interpretations of reality.
The museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with special arrangements for group visits.
A 6-kilometer circular trail surrounding the villa contains 29 interactive stations that integrate natural elements with perception experiments.
