Pfarrkirche Stronsdorf, Gothic parish church in Stronsdorf, Austria.
Pfarrkirche Stronsdorf is a medieval parish church that underwent baroque renovations in the 18th century. The interior contains a three-section nave covered by a barrel vault, with a western gallery and exterior buttresses that reinforce the stone walls.
The church was founded before 1160 as a parish building and experienced a major fire in 1721 that prompted baroque modifications. Despite interior renovations, the original stone construction remained unchanged.
The main altar holds an 18th-century painting with religious figures depicted in traditional devotional style. The decorative elements and sacred artworks reflect the spiritual practices of earlier generations.
The church sits at the southern edge of Stronsdorf village and is surrounded by a medieval fortified wall with a remaining semicircular tower. The building is easy to spot and reach due to its prominent location within the village.
The organ inside dates to 1750 and was built by a craftsman in Brno following a regional tradition. The instrument was originally made for a different location before being placed in this church.
