Pfarrkirche Pradl

Pfarrkirche Pradl, Roman Catholic church in Pradl district, Innsbruck, Austria.

Pfarrkirche Pradl is a neoromanesque basilica with a striking five-story tower and ornate facade facing west. The interior is divided into three naves and contains a marble high altar designed by Franz Bachmann plus several side altars.

The church developed from a wooden chapel containing a copy of the Mariahilf image, which became a pilgrimage site before construction started in 1905. This expansion shows how the neighborhood grew and how the religious devotion around the holy image increased.

The church is dedicated to the Mariahilf image, a sacred picture that drew pilgrims for many years. Today visitors can see religious artworks and altars that reflect how important this holy image was to the local community.

The church is located in the residential Pradl area and is easily reached on foot from nearby tram or bus stops. Visitors should check for active services and community events that may affect visiting times.

The organ was installed in 1914 and fully restored in 2010, featuring 46 registers and three manual keyboards. This instrument is one of the building's most valued artistic treasures and is still used for concerts and services today.
