Drève de Lorraine - Lorreinendreef, Tree-lined avenue in Uccle and Sint-Genesius-Rode, Belgium

The Drève de Lorraine extends through the Sonian Forest with rows of red beech trees forming a wide path connecting multiple municipalities.

The avenue was named after Charles Alexander of Lorraine, who served as Governor-General of the Austrian Netherlands during the eighteenth century.

The path features several notable establishments, including the Chalet de la Forêt restaurant and the Russian Trade Mission for Belgium and Luxembourg.

The complete route spans over 7 kilometers, with sections accessible to pedestrians and horse riders leading from Groenendael Avenue to Saint-Hubert Drive.

The highest point of Brussels reaches 148 meters above sea level near this avenue, surpassing the commonly believed summit at Altitude Cent.
