Vileyka

Vileyka is the administrative center of its district in Minsk Region, situated along the Vilija River. The city sits within a landscape of forests and rural settlements, with the river forming a natural feature that connects different parts of the area.

The settlement was first mentioned in written records in 1460 and received city status through a royal decree in 1795. It then became the administrative center of a larger district and gradually developed into a regional hub.
