Puchavičy District, Administrative district in Minsk Region, Belarus

Puchavičy District is an administrative area in eastern Minsk Region, centered on the town of Marjina Horka. The district contains both urban settlements and extensive rural communities spread across its territory.

The district came into existence in 1924 and underwent its first administrative shift just months later. This early period shaped how the territory was organized and managed.

The district produced writers whose works shaped Belarusian literature and remain part of the region's cultural identity. Their contributions reflect the intellectual life that developed here.

The district offers both town-based services and rural settings depending on where you travel within its boundaries. Plan your visit based on whether you prefer exploring urban centers or the countryside.

The district has hosted a specialized military unit in its administrative center for over 60 years. This long-standing military installation remains an important feature of the area.
