The Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art contains over 520 collections of documents, manuscripts, and artistic works from national creators.
Established by decree of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR in 1960, the institution marks a significant step in preserving Belarus literary heritage.
The museum holds personal archives of notable writers including A. Adamovich, V. Bykov, and Ya. Kupala, along with records from composers and artists.
Researchers can access the reading room from Monday through Thursday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM.
The institution maintains the Belarusian Archive of Ancient Charters and organizes annual Uzvyshsha Readings and Archival Readings since 2001.
