Santa Maria delle Grazie

Santa Maria delle Grazie features a large transverse wall that divides the interior space, displaying Renaissance frescoes throughout its chambers and halls.

Founded in 1480, the church initially operated alongside a Franciscan monastery, serving as a central religious institution for the local community of Bellinzona.

The interior walls present fifteen detailed scenes depicting the life of Christ, created by a Lombardy artist between 1495 and 1505.
