Eastern Qing Tombs, Imperial mausoleum in China
The Eastern Qing Tombs are an imperial mausoleum complex of the Qing dynasty located in Zunhua, Hebei Province.
They were built between 1666 and 1911 and are the largest and most complete existing mausoleum complex in China.
The tombs follow the traditional Chinese concept of feng shui, with mountains to the north and rivers to the south.
The site is open to the public and can be reached by bus from Beijing.
The Eastern Qing Tombs are home to 5 emperors, 15 empresses, 136 imperial concubines, 3 princes, and 2 princesses of the Qing dynasty.
