Mount Emei, Mountain in Sichuan, China
Mount Emei is a mountain in Sichuan Province, China, and is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China.
Emei Mountain was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
The mountain is known for its rich plant diversity of more than 3,000 types, many of which are found nowhere else in China.
The mountain is a popular tourist destination and is accessible by high-speed rail and bus services from Chengdu.
Mount Emei is notable for its exceptionally diverse vegetation, ranging from subtropical to subalpine pine forests.
