The Great Mosque of Xi'an is the largest and one of the most important Islamic structures in China.
Built in 742 during the Tang Dynasty, it's one of the oldest mosques in China.
Apart from being a place of worship, the mosque is also an important cultural heritage of China blending Islamic and Chinese architecture.
The mosque is located in the Muslim Quarter of Xi'an and can be accessed by public transportation.
Instead of traditional minarets, the Great Mosque has Chinese style pagodas.
