Bailong Elevator, Glass elevator in China

The Bailong Elevator is a glass elevator built onto the side of a huge cliff in the Wulingyuan area of Zhangjiajie, People's Republic of China.

Constructed between 1999 and 2002, it was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s tallest outdoor lift.

Its name, 'Bailong', translates to 'Hundred Dragons' from Chinese, reflecting its cultural significance.

It can carry up to 50 people at once, with a total of three such elevators in operation.

The elevator ride offers breathtaking views of the surrounding sandstone karst landscape.
