The Petersglocke is the largest freely swinging church bell in the world.

Cast in 1923, the Petersglocke replaced an older bell destroyed in a fire.

Known as 'Saint Peter's Bell', it is traditionally rung on high holidays and for special occasions.

The bell weighs over 24,000 kilograms and has a diameter of over 3 meters.

Its clapper alone weighs approximately 600 kilograms.
