Berlin Savignyplatz station

The Berlin Savignyplatz station features an island platform covered by a gable roof supported by cast iron columns along the Berlin Stadtbahn line.

Opening on August 1, 1896, the station received modernized stairwells and entrance rooms in 1934, with dark brick facades added to the railway arches.

The station bears the name of jurist Friedrich Carl von Savigny, marking the period of residential expansion in the Charlottenburg district during the 1890s.

Four S-Bahn lines, S3, S5, S7, and S9, serve the station, which includes ticket machines, stamping devices, restroom facilities, and bicycle parking areas.

The station structure incorporates a pedestrian zone through the Else-Ury-Bogen, connecting directly to Savigny Platz park and Schlüterstraße.
