Berlin Wilhelmshagen station
Berlin Wilhelmshagen station, Railway station in Rahnsdorf, Germany.
Berlin Wilhelmshagen station features a central island platform with two tracks, serving passengers along the Berlin-Frankfurt railway line in Treptow-Köpenick district.
The station started operations on November 15, 1882, under the name Neu-Rahnsdorf, receiving substantial renovations between 1899 and 1902 by architects Karl Cornelius and Waldemar Suadicani.
The station building represents German railway architecture from the late 19th century, earning recognition as a cultural heritage monument for its structural preservation.
The S3 line connects travelers to central Berlin with trains running every 10 to 20 minutes during daytime hours, complemented by bus route 161.
Local residents and the municipality of Woltersdorf jointly funded the construction of the station's underpass in 1908, demonstrating early community infrastructure involvement.
