Dagebüll lighthouse, Maritime navigation lighthouse in Dagebüll, Germany.
The square-based lighthouse features an octagonal lantern room and a pyramidal roof, standing 15 meters tall near the North Sea coast.
Built in 1929 with 36 wooden poles as foundation, the lighthouse guided vessels through coastal waters until its retirement from service in 1988.
The structure represents the maritime traditions of Schleswig-Holstein, where lighthouses enabled safe navigation for generations of North Sea seafarers.
The lighthouse now functions as a hotel room for two guests, offering accommodation within its brick walls topped with black and green roof.
The structure received an additional floor during the 1980 sea dike elevation, increasing its original height to accommodate changing coastal conditions.
